Junior Theatre Explosion
Acting basics A-Z! Theatre Games, Improvisation, character development, stage directions,
audition techniques, and scene study are just a few of the topics covered in this program.
Novice and experienced students alike will benefit from this class. Students will perform
from time to time in class.
No audition required.

Improvisation and Scene Study
Explore the world of theatre games and improvisation that will set
the stage for every theatrical endeavor. Learn how to audition,
how to interpret the scene and character, develop a monologue
for auditioning, stage terminology, and how to build a confident
performance. Students will perform scenes, monologues, and
improvisations from time to time in class. No audition required.

9-18 yrs old $50 per month
Musical Theatre Ensemble (audition only)
Singing, dancing, and acting are all combined into these performing ensembles.
These dynamic ensembles are a must for any performer wanting to grow in the
area of Musical Theatre. There are many performance opportunities throughout
the year. Please call for an audition. There is a $100 per season costume fee.

Musical Theatre Discovery
This class has been uniquely designed to introduce young
performers to acting, singing and dancing for stage.

Thoroughly Modern Millie, Junior
Thoroughly Modern Millie is a high spirited musical romp that has all of New York
dancing the Charleston. It's the zany new 1920s musical that has taken Broadway by
storm!

March 13-15 & 20-22, 2009
6-18 yrs old $250 (payment plan available)
Students not wanting to be on stage may sign up for this
production and work on technical and backstage assignments.

Broadcasting and Film
Students will study broadcasting techniques and will attend and
cover local events to be broadcast to the public. This class also
covers film acting techniques such as cold readings, improvisations,
and scene work. A final film project will be presented.

Puppet Theatre Workshop
This Puppet Theatre Workshop will teach basic puppetry skills as well as acting and
stage movement and will end in a fully staged production!

A Year With Frog and Toad, Kids
A Year With Frog and Toad, Kids remains true to the spirit of original stories as it
follows two great friends, the cheerful popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad
through four fun-filled seasons.

Cabaret Performances
Students have the opportunity to audition for multiple
shows throughout the year. The setting for these
shows is Cabaret Style- cabaret tables, candles, and
hors d'œuvre.
