Baton Twirling
Instruction
PCA’s twirling program is like no other twirling program offered
throughout the state. We offer both non-competitive group
classes, and competitive team classes and/or private lessons.
Our competitive twirlers have competed at the local, regional,
and national level.

Twirling 2008-2009 Season
Our competitive teams have won awards and recognition at the state, local and national
levels. The Premier Twirlers have been the Mid-Atlantic Beginner Dance Twirl Team
champions since 2005. Our competitive twirlers know that they must be ready for
serious business when attending weekly sessions. This level of twirling requires extra
commitment including additional team practices and “at home” practice time. Students
wishing to compete must have at least one year of baton combo at PCA or be evaluated
by Miss Lisa before being permitted to compete with the team.

Our baton combo classes are intended to give our baton twirlers an edge over any other
twirling program. Students will receive instruction in both baton twirling and jazz
dancing. They will learn the importance of proper warm up and stretching as is pertains
to both dancing and baton twirling. This is a great class to keep your son/daughter
active throughout the entire season.
