PCA and Fred Munzert.  You can’t say one without the other. PCA has been
the dream of Fred and his sister Lisa for a lifetime.  He has always wanted a
place where young artists could gather and explore their talents to improve
their life and their career.  Fred started out as a vocal/piano teacher when he
was 14, giving voice/piano lessons and music directing choirs for various
churches.  He directed his first show when he was 16 years old and ever
since he has been a mainstay in the theatre world.  After a brief stint at
Disney World as a Bandit/Gangster actor, he traveled for years participating
in puppetry and children’s theatre.  With 28 years of teaching experience,
Fred is an exceptional vocal/piano instructor and theatre coach.
When you first see Shane Munzert, there is no doubt that he’s a drummer.
His hands always in motion, Shane excels at his chosen instrument of drums
at which he has been studying for 5 years. One of the original minds behind
PCA's professional recording studios, Shane also works with our students by
teaching piano and drums as well as music theory.  Currently on AV and
teaching staff, Shane also has many performing credits to his name.
One of the Musical Directors here, Wyatt Neff’s demeanor and friendly smile
are very familiar at PCA.  With 6 years of vocal and 10 years of theatre
experience, Wyatt has had a  passion for helping young actors achieve their
dreams. Musical Direction credits include High School Musical and Seussical
as well as others.  His enthusiasm and commitment are contagious
.
Questions about enrollment or registration?  There’s only one person to ask.
You can usually find Kim Loftus behind the front desk, answering questions
with a smile and ready to lend a hand.  This mother understands all the ins
and outs of PCA and always has an answer.  Volunteering for all of her kid’s
shows, she has worked backstage on Beauty and the Beast, Annie, Music
Man Junior, and many others.  She’s a person that brings her entire family
into everything she does with a smile.
With over 30 years of dance experience and training under her belt, this
amazing woman lights up seeing children enjoy dance.  Along with being very
creative Jill is always thinking of her students.  She has performed in over 40
productions with Marcellus Dance Company and others.  One of her biggest
accomplishments is that she performed at the Lincoln Center in 2003.  Her 5
years as a dance instructor at PCA have had a positive effect on the many
students she has influenced
.
A woman of unrivaled musical talent and abundant personality, Mary Grovola
defies the regular example of a music teacher.  Moments like playing with the
Quaker City String Band and singing with the West Chester Womens Chorus
helps her to add a distinguished presence to all the work that she does. An
experienced organist of over 20 years, Mary has played at several churches,
including St. Roberts Church where she also directed the choir.  She has
worked with people of all ages for most of her life, from being the high school
accompanist for the chorus and theatre shows to 10 years of teaching private
music lessons in Delaware County in PA.  Mary brings a lifetime of musical
experience and excellence into the studio and she always does it with a smile.
When you meet Paul Lewis, his do or die attitude and the force of his
personality show him to be the true rocker that he is.  A founding member of
Ynot, the band that took the East Coast by storm, Paul lives to help other
people achieve the same sort of success that he has in his life.
Professionally, Lewis has performed over 4,000 live shows and the experience
has served him well.  His experience and know-how make his students strive
for their goals and they are well rewarded.

If you ask one of the baton twirlers running through the halls who they look up
to, you can be sure that the answer will be Lisa Bonacquisti.  Lisa, along with
Fred, runs PCA to make sure the students that come here have the time of
their lives.  Lisa was a competitor in the Miss America pageant and won the
talent competition with her grace and twirling skill. Her discipline and
technique bring twirlers from all over to learn from the woman who was Miss
Majorette of DE for 4 years in a row.  Lisa encourages all of her student to set
their own goals and to reach for the stars.  After 15 years of teaching, Lisa is
a fantastic teacher for all the hopefuls that come to study with her.
Jamie has been dancing since she was three years old. Her training up until
college included ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, and hip-hop. In
college, Jamie studied other forms of dance, including African, Israeli, and
ballroom (fox trot, swing, meringue, waltz, and cha-cha). Jamie was a
teaching assistant for the social dance class offered at Syracuse University.
She most recently served as the resident jazz teacher at the Newtown Athletic
Club in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Jamie also has extensive experience in
drama, musical theatre, and voice. Throughout the years, Jamie has
performed on the stage at the Bucks County Playhouse, a professional
theatre in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and has held top billing at several
community theatres. Jamie is thrilled to bring her exciting choreography to the
already-talented black box theatre at the PCA.
Tom O’Connor is one of the definitive names to look for when you’re
interested in playing acoustic, bass and electric guitar.  This experienced
guitarist is the founding member of four bands, including Redeemed, and has
his own album of original music.  A leader at PCA, he has co-created many
programs that have been held here like the Beatles Café and the annual
Café O’Connor.  His Art and Journalism degree has helped him tremendously
to write his children productions and his radio ministry.  Tom encourages his
students to write their own music like he has and to always do their best. His
students put their heart into their playing and it’s easy to see why after you
meet their teacher.
With lights, set, and sound being an integral part of all PCA productions,
there’s one man that keeps it going.  Evan Riley is PCA’s go to man for all
things technical and when there’s a problem, he’s there to fix it.  With Lighting
Designs, Set Builds, and a fresh idea always in his head, Evan has helped to
start up many of PCA’s unique features such as the professional recording
studios.  PCA’s Technical Director, Evan runs most of PCA’s shows from
either behind the stage or up in the booth as well as heading up the
recording and video projects.  Evan Riley’s expertise and professional skill
add to PCA’s quality productions.
A man of vision, Ed Ryan always looks to help his students find their place int
he music business.  One of the best music teachers In the industry Ed
teaches drums, electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and piano.  Ed Ryan
landed first song publishing and recording contract at age 25.  He has been
a  recording artist for 3 major companies including CBGB/ Off the Board
Records as well as being a regular on the CBGB's stage.  Touring and
performing for over 30 years, Ed decided to share his experience and help
other young aspiring artists achieve their goals, just like he did his.
